Alonissos Beaches

It seems paradoxical that in such a small island there are as many as 20 beaches, but it is really so!

Every small cove fringed with so much green becomes a beach to discover and live with your better half and your family. Certainly if you are looking for beach bars, music and chaos we are not on the right island, on the contrary if we are here looking for the much deserved rest and relaxation, well ... you couldn't choose a better island.

Almost all of them are rocky and pebble beaches, with crystal clear waters and a charm that leaves you speechless. Needless to say, they are all to visit. Having said that, they give you some small suggestions:

- Kokkinokastro Beach: it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Alonissos, with sand and pebbles, behind an orange rock wall that at sunset fills the beach with colors and shades

- Milia Beach: pebble beach, shallow waters and lots of green flora behind

- Chrisi Milia: the most popular beach on the island for its golden sand, its green pines that give it coolness on hot summer days and taverns ready to serve you the best fresh fish with a table overlooking the sea

- Marpunta Beach: on the southernmost coast of the island, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and taverns for an excellent lunch in front of the sea

- Lefto Gialos Beach: a small beach with very white pebbles that contrast with the turquoise of the sea, will give you the idea of having arrived in an earthly paradise

- Vrisitsa Beach: immersed in lush vegetation, it remains very sheltered on windy days, with dark sand and pebbles
