Kokinokastro beach is located on the south-east coast of the island of Alonissos.
Its name literally means "Red Castle" because of the promontory behind which resembles a fortress that protects this bay from all the rest.
To get to this beach a car / scooter are essential and you can park them 100 meters from the beach and going down a steep road you will reach one of the most enchanting beaches on the island of Alonissos: Kokinokastro Beach.
Upon your arrival you will have a very special setting in front of you, with this beach nestled between red and steep cliffs, among which you will perfectly embed an emerald sea that leaves you breathless!
Perfect for those looking for sun beds and umbrellas (€ 5 per day) on one side and free beach on the other in a small bay right next door. The beach is almost stony. Behind Kokinokastro beach There is a small bar for some quick snacks, salads, sandwiches and fresh drinks.
