Megali Ammos Beach

Megali Ammos beach is located on the south-west coast of the island of Alonissos.

This beach is a spectacle of nature! It can be reached by renting a vehicle (better a car than a scooter) because of the dirt road. As soon as you are at the car park, the beach is only 150 meters away, after a short descent, always unpaved (feasible even with children).

The show at your arrival is guaranteed! Pebble beach that plunges into a sea with crystal clear water, flat and transparent! The sea does not degrade gently, as after just a few meters it immediately becomes quite deep, but this is the beauty for those who love to swim.

For those looking for sunbeds and umbrellas, half of the beach is equipped at a cost of € 10 per day (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), while the other half is free.

There are no tavernas or bars, so if you want to eat or drink something you can ask Mr. Jannis (owner of the few umbrellas present) who always has some sandwiches and soft drinks with him.
