Aegiali Beach

Aegiali beach is located in the homonymous village about 20 km from Chora, the capital of Amorgos, on the north west coast of the island. It is a very long beach that extends for 1 km, covered by comfortable soft sand and bathed by crystal clear waters.
In fact, we are talking about one of the most important and accessible places on the island of Amorgos.
The splendid green landscape created allows a continuous growth of tourism in the Aegiali area, which until recently was almost practically unknown.

What does Aegiali beach offer?

Aegiali beach has tall pine trees that offer a little shade to visitors looking for completely natural relaxation. But don't worry, comfort lovers, the bay is surrounded by a narrow street with taverns where you can go for lunch to enjoy excellent fresh fish and bars where you can sip good Greek coffee and maybe have a chat with some locals!
On the Aegiali beach, relaxation is assured, yes, but fun for children is also guaranteed, in fact, in addition to the playground available, you must know that the seabed of the bay is gently degrading, and therefore excellent for children who want to run and have fun in water!
If your stay on the beach has tired you and you want to do something, we suggest you take a walk in the nearby village of Aegiali. Here you can try your hand at the daily life of the locals and thus learn about their traditions, admire the splendid alleys of the village and obviously find everything you need; for example supermarkets and markets where you can buy what you need!

You cannot leave the island of Amorgos without first meeting Aegiali!
