Agia Anna Beach

Agia Anna Beach

Agia Anna beach is located just 3 km from the capital Hora, a few steps from the monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa, the place with the most important view of Amorgos. It is a beautiful beach characterized by a rocky terrain, a turquoise and crystalline sea and a beautiful cliff that surrounds the entire coast. We are certainly talking about a much more particular and different beach compared to the other beaches on the island of Amorgos!

What can I find on Agia Anna beach?

On Agia Anna beach you will not find the necessary equipment, the bay is completely natural. For this reason we recommend that you arrive already equipped with everything you need to spend an unforgettable day.
Despite not being provided with beach facilities and services, Agia Anna remains a fairly popular bay on the island of Amorgos. Due to its mainly rocky terrain it could be a little dangerous for children, so we recommend paying close attention.
For diving and snorkeling lovers this is the perfect place, here you can fall in love even more with the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea.
If you want to go to the beautiful monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa you can reach it on foot, with a walk of about 40 minutes.

Small tips from the staff!

Since the beach of Agia Anna is very small, the staff advises you to bring some sunscreen with you in case you struggle to find shade all day and to arrive early in the morning, so that you can enjoy the most beautiful and peaceful moments of this little paradise!

Interesting facts about Agia Anna beach!

A small curiosity on the beach that we would like to let you know is that the wonderful landscape of Agia Anna was photographed 20 years ago in the English film "The Big Blue". In short, let's talk about a VIP beach!
