Avithos Beach

Avithos Beach is located on the south-western side of the island of Kefalonia, near the village of Svoronata. It is a long beach with a crystalline blue flag and golden sand! The water thanks to its gently sloping seabed allows families with children to have fun without worries!

Avithos Beach is very well equipped: it has two very good quality taverns with excellent fresh food, sea view and courteous staff, a bar where you can enjoy cocktails, snacks and drinks also provided with all the toilets and the beach umbrella and sunbed rental facility .

The left side of the beach is free, lovers of tranquility can decide to equip themselves with everything they need and position themselves near the rocks. Pay attention however to the fences present in a part of the free beach. Enclosures where turtle eggs are laid and controlled by volunteers. If you stop until evening you will be lucky enough to witness the birth of these cute little creatures!

This is a very easy to reach beach and convenient for parking a little small, located near the beach, but you can still decide to park along the road!

This wonderful beach of the island of Kefalonia and the birth of the small turtles are two things not to be missed!
