Canal d'amour beach is located 36 kilometers north of Corfu Town, west of the village of Sidari, one of the most developed areas of the north coast of Corfu, in terms of tourism. The beach is a truly unprecedented lunar paradise; presents rocks sculpted by water and wind that throw themselves into the crystal clear sea. Over the years, these cliffs have come to create a small clear and clean canal and other small bays that can be reached with totally natural paths and steps.
There are also other beaches that are located before the Canal d'amour and have a beautiful soft sand, excellent for lying in the sun but a little uncomfortable on windy days, due to the sand storms that are created. We would like to add that these bays are quite mediocre compared to the beauty created by nature and located only a few meters further west. The Canal d'amour offers a rocky paradise, with various shades of yellow, rich in vegetation and excellent for windy days, thanks to its high cliffs that will shelter you from the winds.But the goodies don't end there; many visitors in front of these places are so fascinated, but at the same time they have no idea where to enjoy even a little comfort. Here, Canal d'amour will be able to satisfy you also on this, you will notice in fact that at the bottom of the channel there is a small strip of bay; this has sand mixed with some gravel (mostly on the shore), some umbrellas and nearby you will also find very useful services, including bars and restaurants. But overall this place is magical also for the presence of few services and we would like to tell you that in this "equipped" area you could find a lot of crowds.
Diving lovers, arm yourself with a mask and fins and run to discover the wonderful sea caves located along the canal. Here you will discover fish of various types and a whole new marine vegetation!
