Bataria Beach is located in the north coast of the island of Corfu, 35 km from the capital of the island (Corfu Town) and therefore an hour's drive from the latter.
The car park is located just behind Bataria Beach, but being rather small, after a certain time, you will find it absolutely full. In this case you can park at the port of Kassiopi and with a 15 minute walk, you will be on the beach, ready to enjoy a sunny day.The village of Kassiopi, behind Bataria Beach, has everything you need for a comfortable day, with its taverns, shops and small supermarkets.
Let's start by saying that the beach of Bataria Beach has two different coves (one next to the other), both with crystal clear water. The smaller of the two has a dreamy emerald water!
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to visitors at a cost of € 8 per day. A word of advice: do not arrive too late ... because there is little space available and you may not find free beds.
The beauty of this beach is its being sheltered from the wind, therefore always perfect!The white and very smooth pebbles give the sea a crystalline and so clear coloration that you want to dive in instantly.The sight? Right from Bataria Beach you can see Saranda (Albania) on the horizon.
If you love snorkeling, bring shoes, mask and fins: an amazing backdrop awaits you!
And if you feel a slight pang ... find nearby a small pickup truck that sells fresh fruit (a little more expensive than usual, but after all .. we can enjoy it comfortably under an umbrella).
