Porto Timoni beach is located on the north west coast of Corfu Island on the exact opposite side of the capital of Corfu Town.

How do you reach Porto Timoni beach?

Porto Timoni beach can be reached in two ways:
1) after leaving the car at the Anemos tavern (in Afionas), continue on foot through a path, for about 30 minutes. The path is to be carried out mainly under the hot summer sun, on steep terrain and mainly sandy and mixed with stones. Sneakers are required to be able to move quickly and easily. The effort will be rewarded: on this we are really sure! A splendid panorama will stand out before your eyes, before descending to the beach.
2) get there by taxi boat (indicative cost of about thirty euros) with immediate access to the beach. With the taxo boat you can agree on the time you prefer to pick you up or you can have a telephone number left. To take the taxi boat, just go to Agios Georgios and head towards the BOAT FOR HIRE which is located almost under the rocks of the beach. Duration of the route: about 3 minutes, therefore very feasible even for those who do not like sailing.
For the famous photo you see everywhere, it will be enough to go up the promontory by about twenty meters, and you're done!

Is Porto Timoni beach equipped?

Porto Timoni beach is not equipped with sun beds, umbrellas or refreshment points, so don't forget everything you need to spend a few hours in the sun.
It is not particularly crowded, especially in the morning, so you have a good reason to get there early, or if you are dispassionately romantic, we recommend going there at sunset ... where the whole panorama acquires fantastic colors!
And snorkeling is a must if you love marine life: colorful fish flock to these crystal clear waters!

What is Porto Timoni beach characterized by?

Porto Timoni beach is characterized by its two pebbly beaches divided by a verdant peninsula and with crystalline waters of different colors: on one side turquoise, on the other emerald color.
