Voulisma beach is located on the northeast coast of the island of Crete, 15 kilometers south of Agios Nikolaos.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, often the star of many postcards due to its unique beauty. The sport that we advise you to practice is snorkeling, because the marine fauna of Voulisma deserves at all costs to be known. If, on the other hand, you want to get away from the more crowded area, you can go to the small cove located in the western part of the beach, where you can completely relax, away from the crowds and tourist facilities, also adding perfect wind protection. Keep in mind that, especially on weekends but generally in high season, the beach is quite visited, so try to arrive as soon as possible, so that you can admire the bay of Voulisma as nature has done!

How to reach Voulisma beach?
Voulisma beach is easily accessible by car, on foot or by bus.
If you decide to arrive by car, we are 1 hour from Heraklion (the capital), 40 minutes from Hersonissos, 30 minutes from Malia and only 15 minutes from Agios Nikolaos. Parking will not be a problem; in fact you will find a large and free one right on the beach, or you can decide to leave your car in the parking lot on Old Road.
On foot only if you are in the village of Istro.
By bus you can reach Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, as well as from Heraklion.
