The magical island of Chrissi is a small uninhabited island located off the southern coast of the island of Crete.
There is only one way to get there: from Ierapetra (reachable by car or by bus) you take the ferry to Chrissi, after about 50 minutes of travel you will find yourself in front of this beautiful island (to pay the entrance fee of € 1) and walking for 5 minutes you will reach the nearest beach.
A paradise ... green and turquoise water reminiscent of a swimming pool, Caribbean colors and scents spread throughout the beach, which invites you to stroll around the island with its soft white sand! The clear seabed allows you to practice snorkeling! Ideal place for lovers of this sport!
The beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols for hire and a bar. There is only one refreshment point so if you prefer we suggest you bring your lunch.If, on the other hand, you are a lover of tranquility and the most free and wild stretches you can move towards the rightmost point of the beach to enjoy a little privacy and total and absolute relaxation! Maybe even making you shade with the beautiful cedars.
Walking a little you will reach the shells beach. Here you can find shells of all shapes, colors and sizes! There's something for everyone! But beware, you can't take them home as they are part of the jewels of this wonderful island!
