Preveli beach is located about 38 kilometers south of the prefecture of Rethymno. It is one of the most suggestive and peculiar beaches of Crete. This is because it is characterized by the presence of a river surrounded by a forest of palm trees, this wonder recalls a desert oasis of Africa!
In addition, it still has a small community of modern hippies. But the real symbol of the beach is the heart-shaped rock on the left side of the bay, beautiful and unique!

To reach it you will have to park your car in the large free car park (up to a certain time) and then walk about 500 steps that will take you directly to this earthly paradise! Or you can choose to arrive by boat (more convenient solution).
