Livadaki beach is located on the southern coast of the island of Folegandros. It is a splendid bay of pebbles lapped by a turquoise and crystalline sea. If you are looking for a place without any bathing establishment, then Livadaki beach is exactly for you.On Livadaki beach you will find only nature waiting for you. When you arrive make sure you take a seat near one of the few trees so you can have a small corner in which to shelter from the hot sun.
A small flaw of the bay is the crowd that you might find in the high season. Being a well-known beach, many guests wish to visit it, therefore we advise you to arrive early in the morning; doing so you can enjoy the bay immersed in the calm of the early morning.
There are two ways to reach Livadaki beach: the first is the least tiring, or taking one of the taxi boats that leave from Agali beach, you will be in Livadaki in about 15 minutes. The disadvantage of using the taxi boat is the crowd that you may find above and consequently also on the beach as you will arrive together with all the other visitors.The second way to reach the beach is on foot starting from Ano Meria: the path is not easy, you will have to cross steep slopes, pass two mountains, rocks and stones. Using the walking path it will take you about 45 minutes to get to Livadaki, but the great advantage is that you can leave early in the morning and arrive even before the taxi boats arrive, without having to suffer from the scorching sun.
