Damatria Beach

Damatria beach is located on the southeast coast of the island of Karpathos, about 13 kilometers from Pigadia.

It has sand mixed with pebbles, a transparent and clear sea and a peaceful atmosphere excellent for those looking for a bit of tranquility, even in August. In addition, lovers of fun in the water can decide whether to practice kitesurfing, surfing or snorkeling. The first two options are possible thanks to the strong wind that hits some areas of the bay, that is the most exposed ones. On the other hand, we recommend snorkeling on the right side of the beach. In this part you will notice a set of rocks that forms a small natural pool, inside you can admire many multicolored fish!

Nearby there are also other beaches to reach on foot. Walking from the left side of the beach you can slowly reach the most intimate coves all to know and explore.

How to reach Damatria beach?

Getting to Damatria beach is very simple, just have a car and follow the road that leads to the airport until you have to turn left, all the way you will notice that it is well signposted so the signs will help you reach your destination .

A tip we give you is to arrive early, so that you can enjoy the deserted bay and stay there from morning until late afternoon ... you will not find such a Caribbean relaxation in Karpathos, enjoy it fully!
