Diafani Beach

Diafani beach is located in the north-east area of the island of Karpathos.

We are near the port from which you embark for the island of Saria.Diafani beach is perfect for a short stop after visiting Olympos or if you are staying here for your vacation and looking for a nearby and peaceful beach.

The beach and the sea at first glance do not seem to compare with the rest of the beaches to which the island of Karpathos has accustomed us, but this does not mean that the water is less clear and crystalline.

With its gray pebbles, its stretch of beach, the inevitable shining and clean water despite its proximity to the port, its inhabitants in local clothes and its taverns behind it, it remains perfect at least for a brief stop, if you are looking for of the real Greek atmosphere.

Here you will find very few tourists and many Greeks who gather here for a relaxing bath in the afternoon.
