The beach of Michaliou Kipos is a very particular jewel that is located several kilometers south-west of the city of Pigadia, near the beach of Diakoftis.
It can be reached by following a path that will take you to a small canyon where the stunning beach will appear beyond it. Positioned in a small lagoon and sheltered from the wind by the surrounding high rocks; and not normal rocks ... but composed of tuff and shells.
You can choose to relax by the sea by buying two sunbeds and an umbrella for just € 6, to be able to use all day or to cool off at the kiosk behind and maybe, why not? To be able to taste some Greek food!
If, on the other hand, you are more environmentalists, you can very well shelter yourself from the sun and the wind with rocks!
The Michaliou beach is the hidden treasure of Karpathos that is really worth visiting!
