Vananda beach is a corner of paradise on Karpathos, located several kilometers north of the city of Pigadia. Easily reachable from Diafani driving a couple of km of dirt road by car or on foot with about half an hour's walk.
Once there, it is suggested to continue to the left of the welcoming port there, where enchanting colors will appear over the bridge.Vananda beach is free from any kind of artificial equipment, so it is important to have food and water. But thanks to its total naturalness it captures the eyes of lovers of nature and relaxation.
It offers a sea so clear that it makes you want to dive immediately and a rocky beach for which it is advisable to use shoes.
Behind it there is a rich source of drinking water dedicated to a man who for many years of his life took care of the beach.
