Agios Stefanos beach

We present you the famous beach of Kos island postcards! With his younger brother called Kastri isle! Yeah, because there is no Agios Stefanos without Kastri!

Agios Stefanos is one of the many beaches of the island of Kos where you will find clear sand and crystal clear sea! You can also practice some snorkeling, these waters are full of little fish that splash around here and there!

This particular beach carries with it a millenary legend: that of the aforementioned Kastri isle. Legend has it that if you want to acquire a bit of luck and express a nice desire you have to swim from the beach of Agios Stefanos to the islet, ring the bell of the beautiful chapel of St. Nicholas! Who knows, maybe something happens ...

Returning to us Agios Stefanos is a little cove that offers a bit of history and not just sea and sand: here we find the ruins of an early Christian basilica from the 5th and 6th centuries just a few meters from the sea! Interesting and very suggestive!

We suggest you take a look around and admire the natural but also historical-artistic beauty of this beach!

Small peculiarity: reach the ruins, sit or lie down and feel a spectacular positive energy coming from the earth ... Oh yes ... There is a reason why they built a basilica there centuries ago, but above all if we still have the fortune of being able to touch it with hands, after over fifteen centuries of history!
