Kalo Livadi Beach

Kalo Livadi beach is located on the southern coast of the island of Mykonos and is about 10 kilometers from the capital Mykonos Town. It has fine sand, a splendid turquoise sea with a slowly degrading seabed (excellent for children) and a rocky wall that frames and seems to protect the west side of the beach, these cliffs, however, do not protect it from the winds, making the bay not particularly recommended in days when Meltemi blows. In fact, "Kalo Livadi" means "the good lawn" and still today you can admire some reeds located in the mountains, which give these wild mountains a little green here and there.

How do I get to Kalo Livadi?

Reaching Kalo Livadi beach by car is very simple and it is absolutely the best way, just follow the main road of Ano Mera which has several indications regarding the beach. During this journey, if you can take a look at the panorama that stands out in front of you, or stop in a safe place and take a memorable photo, you will not regret it. Once you reach the beach you will notice a large parking area where you can leave your car for free. Alternatively you can use the bus, but this is usually only available in the high season.
