Agiassos Beach

Agiassos beach is located in the most south-western part of the island of Naxos and is about 21 kilometers from the capital Hora. It has a beautiful and clear sea, soft and golden sand that stretches over a wide coastline and pretty hills that surround the bay together with buildings used as accommodation for visitors. The characteristics of the beach

The bay of Agiassos does not offer sunbeds and umbrellas, in fact we advise you to bring the necessary equipment before reaching it, that is: umbrella, towels, water and if you do not want to bother to get to the tavern, you can take a nice packed lunch with you.

The tavern also serves as a bar, here you can enjoy excellent fish, meat or sip an ice cold drink, while admiring the splendid view!

How to reach it?

Reaching Agiassos beach is simple, with the car you can follow the signs from Pyrgaki that lead to Agiassos, then you will have to cross a stretch of dirt road for about 3 kilometers, but easily passable and you will have arrived on this enchanting paradise!

If you were in Naxos in August you can take advantage of the bus that connects Agiassos to the other centers of the island, but be careful the bus service is available only during the month of August. For the other months you will have to come here by your own means of transport.

Agiassos beach is characterized by a wild and uncontaminated environment, due to the lack of organization of the bay and the little flow of visitors. This can be an advantage for all those who wish to relax and prefer a quiet beach to a crowded and chaotic bay.
