Agiassos Beach

Agiassos Beach is located 21 km south-east of the capital of the island of Naxos (Chora), on the western side.

To reach it you can choose two different roads: the dirt road that starts from Pyrgaki or a paved road from Sagri.

Certainly it is recommended and necessary to hire a car / scooter because the only bus that gets there (with several intermediate stops ..) is active only in August.

This beach is absolutely unspoiled and is characterized by its gentle hills behind which are the backdrop to this paradise, soft and golden sand, very wide beach, sea that slopes gently and very clear blue water.

The beach of Agiassos is certainly very subject to the winds but if you are lucky and manage to arrive on a windy day, be prepared for a spectacle of nature: the Caribbean !!

To know: the beach is one of the few not equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas on the island of Naxos.

Although it is not equipped, the beach has taverns and accommodations behind it.

The beach of Agiassos is a source of relaxation and tranquility, away from the classic and most touristic destinations of the island of Naxos and for this reason .. you can't miss it !!
