Apollonas Beach

Description

The Apollonas beach is located on the north coast of the island of Naxos, 54 km from the capital.

To reach it there are two passable roads: the first is a road that runs along the north-west coast and the second is an internal road that crosses the town of Kinidaros.

The town of Apollonas, a small and characteristic fishing village, is the background and allows this beach to set itself perfectly in its bay.

Frequently frequented by Greeks and some tourists looking for an itinerary outside the classic routes, the beach of Apollonas is divided into two different zones: a wider part, rocky and more subject to the winds and a smaller, sandy and more sheltered part.
The sea is crystal clear and its being little frequented, makes it perfect for a relaxing break.

The whole beach is equipped with toilets, showers and bars / taverns behind, but does not have sunbeds and umbrellas.

The beach of Apollonas is definitely worth a visit! It is one of the most secluded beaches on the island of Naxos and this is its main charm!
