Limnonari Beach

Limnonari Beach

Limnonari Beach is located 9 kilometers south of Skopelos Town (the capital), near the village of Agnondas, on the west coast of the island of Skopelos. It is a small bay, one of the most famous of Skopelos, which presents sand mixed with gravel and crystal clear sea with emerald shades due to the beautiful pine trees that surround it, all enclosed within a cove in the shape of horseshoe: these features together create a spectacular scenery!

Is Limnonari beach equipped?

The beach of Limnonari is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas at a cost of € 6 per day and behind it there is a tavern for a good lunch of fish or typical Greek cuisine. You will also find a bar where you can nibble on something light. On windy days it is the perfect beach to go to, its position allows no wind to touch it.
Now on windy days you already know where to go. But whether there is wind or not, Limnonari beach is a magical place, surrounded by nature and that gives peace to anyone who stays here!

How to reach Limnonari beach?

The beach can be reached in different ways: the most comfortable and therefore the least tiring is to reach it by small boats or cars. In the latter case, just follow the direct coastal road to Panormos, after the uphill hairpin you will see the road sign on the left that leads to Limnonari beach. Once you arrive near the beach you will find a large parking lot where you can leave the car. The other way is to get there on foot along a path on the sea that starts from the village of Agnondas and is 1.5 kilometers long, with a breathtaking view. Obviously in the second case your effort will be repaid by the magnificent surrounding panorama!
