Milia Beach

Milia Beach is located 13 kilometers west of Skopelos Town (the capital) , on the northern coast of the island.

It is a long beach, about one kilometer long, which presents very soft white sand mixed with pebbles, a rich vegetation of green pines and a turquoise sea, very transparent and calm that slowly degrades, with some rocky stretches. It is very famous and quite crowded, thanks also to the natural environment that surrounds it and the dense pine forests, which make it a unique beach of its kind. While relaxing, in front of you, you can admire the island of Dassia, a verdant island that offers a splendid panorama!

Is the Milia beach equipped?

The Milia beach has a bar where you can munch on a snack or enjoy a good refreshing drink and sun beds and umbrellas that you can rent for € 6 a day. While for those who prefer to relax away from the crowds concentrated in the central part, on the right (looking at the sea) there are stretches of beach that are much quieter where you can stretch out your beach towel and relax in a big way.
In the southern part of Milia beach there are other small coves interspersed with rocks, they are called: Adrines and Adrinakia, noticing them will not be difficult given the presence of a couple of resorts behind.
Behind the bay there are two kiosks that will offer you orders with delivery right under your umbrella and without bothering you! One is famous for selling the delicious donuts and the other is "Apple Paradise beach"; particularly loved by the young people of the place thanks to its modern characteristics and to the beautiful music that you begin to feel already in the afternoon. On this stretch of beach there are also playgrounds such as beach volleyball and paddle courts.
On days of strong wind it is not advisable to go to the beach of Milia, its position does not protect it from the winds. When you arrive, in addition to admiring the enchanting landscape, you will notice the rocky promontory that divides the beach into two. If you reach the bay by car, don't worry about finding a parking space: there is a very large one where you can leave the car without problems.
The beach of Milia, thanks to its splendid sea incredibly transparent, offers the possibility to practice diving and snorkeling, especially near the rocky promontory, rich in a magnificent marine fauna. It also allows you to have a good swim, ensuring you a relaxing day!
