Agnondas Beach

Agnondas Beach is located 8 kilometers south of Skopelos city, capital of the island of Skopelos.

It is a beautiful pebble beach that can be reached via the paved road that starts from the beach of Stafilos. It is surrounded by green vegetation and is bathed by a clear and incredibly transparent sea, which takes on the shades of green and is excellent for taking a long and beautiful swim. These emerald waters enchant all those who visit this beautiful bay every year!

The name Agnondas was given to it by the locals in ancient times, in honor of Agnodas, the winner of a competition at the Olympic Games in 569 BC
This bay is also the third port of Skopelos, where boats and ferries anchor you when the winds prevent them from reaching the other ports on the island.

The small village of the same name above the beach offers, in addition to hotels and rooms for rent, numerous taverns where you can eat fresh fish or excellent Greek food!

At the port of Agnondas beach there are numerous boats and it is not uncommon to find luxurious yachts during the summer season. Although often compared to the humble and picturesque boats of the local people, they look like skyscrapers!
