Porto Vromi beach

Porto Vromi beach is located on the west coast of the island of Zakynthos and is about 35 kilometers from Zakynthos Town. It has fine white sand mixed with white pebbles, a crystalline and incredibly transparent sea and high cliffs strictly white but with a little green here and there, which protect the bay and make it a small almost completely natural port. In short, a corner of paradise!

What can I find and do in Porto Vromi?

When you arrive on the beach of Porto Vromi you will notice that it is not very well equipped, in fact, before arriving we advise you to bring all you need to spend a fantastic day in a place less contaminated than others!
What little Porto Vromi offers is a small bar where you can sip a refreshing drink of your choice or nibble on something, the rental of sunbeds and umbrellas and a tavern to enjoy excellent fresh fish with a splendid and unforgettable view!
Here you can decide whether to rent boats, pedal boats or boats, as well as being able to take a seat on one of the ferries that leave from Porto Vromi to reach the Blue Caves and Navagio beach, both about 30 minutes from the bay.
The advice we give to families with children is to pay attention to the little ones, the water here becomes immediately deep and could be dangerous.

How do I get to Porto Vromi beach?

It is possible to reach Porto Vromi beach by car, the road ahead has a series of switchbacks for which you will have to drive at low speed. But from here you can see the splendid bay stretching out into the blue and blue sea. A tip we give you is to stop in a safe corner of the street and take a lot of memorable photos!

Porto Vromi is quite frequented mainly by those who have already booked, or want to book, the ferry to reach Navagio and the Blue Caves. It serves as a break rather than a stay on the beach, but despite this it is a wonderful place, perhaps a little underestimated, but its unique panoramas make everyone think again!
