Kathisma Beach

Kathisma beach is located on the northwest coast of the island of Lefkada, 16 kilometers from the capital, 30 kilometers from Nydri and Vassiliki.

How do you get to Kathisma beach?

Kathisma beach is located only 3 km from Agios Nikitas which as a small village also deserves a short and pleasant stop before reaching the large parking lot just behind the beach.

The best way to reach this beach is certainly by car or scooter (unfortunately the bus does not arrive).

Is Kathisma beach equipped?

The wide beach of Kathisma is characterized by its white flat pebbles and a crystal clear sea with the classic blue color that characterizes all the beaches of the island of Lefkada.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to all visitors at a cost that can be around € 15 - € 20 (a bit above the Greek average, but certainly below the Italian average, as we well know).

If you are looking for a beach to totally relax, you are probably not on the right beach, because of the beach bars (the Copla Beach Bar is the most famous where at 16.00 famous deejays take turns to raise the "volume" of the fun). Needless to say, the beach especially in this area is always quite crowded and "partying" from morning to sunset.

If you are for the emotions of Friuli, we recommend you to go down by paragliding: the show is guaranteed!

And if you are for emotions at sea ... well .. you are spoiled for choice among the many water sports!

A little tip: sunset is the right time for a good aperitif ... so if the beach is to your liking, don't miss this magical moment! Remember that you are on the west side, the one from which you can admire the best sunsets!
