Kalamitsi beach is located about 15 km from Lefkada and is a real pristine beauty. To get there you have to take a road composed mainly of curves that start from the hill until you reach the olive groves, near the sea.
Kalamitsi beach has rocks mixed with sand, but unlike other beaches, pebbles are particularly comfortable for lying on! But you can still rent sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach if you prefer!
Near the beach there is a paid parking lot for just € 5 all day or you can choose to park your motor vehicle about 100 meters before without spending anything.
Furthermore, when you need to cool off or fill up, the beach offers you a bar / kiosk with various types of dishes: from a meat dish to a simple sandwich!
If instead you want to stop in the most free part you can go to the left, looking at the sea, and cross the cliff; to do this we recommend the use of shoes due to the slipperiness of the rocks!
The sea of Kalamitsi is a bright blue that clears up on the shore and becomes more and more intense offshore ... it makes you want to take a nice bath!
The view is breathtaking and evocative thanks to the large rocks that dot this small wild bay! A show!!
Go there early in the morning and enjoy it all day long!
