Megali Petra beach, whose name derives from the presence of two large boulders in the water in front, is divided into two parts: the first section is free and therefore not equipped and is characterized by large spaces provided with white stones, turquoise sea and long silences, a real magic! To get there just go to the left of the bar and go over the rocks.
The other part is instead equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and a bar with services where they make excellent food at a good price, including tasty and tasty grilled souvlaki !!
Megali Petra beach is located on the west coast of Lekfada, to reach it you have to travel a winding and narrow road ... but it's definitely worth the effort! Parking is quite large and costs only € 5 for the whole day!
Despite the ample parking we still recommend arriving early so as not to risk finding a seat and above all because it is a beach that is worth a whole day of relaxation!
The beach has sand mixed with pebbles and unique rocks! It is one of the beaches of Lefkada that will leave you speechless because of its peculiarities within its pure simplicity!
