Firiplaka beach

We are on the beach of Firiplaka, one of the most beautiful and popular on the island of Milos. Firiplaka beach is located on the southern coast of Milos, between the beaches of Provatas and Tsigrado.

It is a splendid beach of clear, sparkling sand, surrounded by high, multi-colored scogli, which in addition to creating a suggestive scenario, shelter it from the wind. The waters of Firiplaka are truly magnificent: crystal clear and shallow and truly enchant anyone.

The large rock that is found in the sea, near the shore, gives it a very particular aspect, almost esоticο.

The beach of Firiplaka is very spacious, but being one of the most loved on the island, we advise you to arrive early to enjoy this peaceful paradise.

In the summer months you will find a beach bar in Firiplaka if you want to stop for a quick lunch, or buy a snack and a refreshing drink. The small structure also manages the hire of seats and umbrellas, which cost € 10 per day.

For lovers of water sports, you can also rent a kayak to reach the nearby Tsigrado or have fun with stand up paddles.

On the beach of Firiplaka there is also a nudist area, in an area more sheltered and far from the main bay.

How do you reach Firiplaka beach?

Reaching Firiplaka beach is very simple with any rental vehicle (car scooter or quad). Most of the road is paved, except for the last part which is dirt and gravelly, so pay more attention. Once you arrive you will find a convenient parking lot near the beach and you're done! After a few minutes of walking you will arrive at the beautiful beach of Firiplaka.

If you have no means of transport, don't worry! You can still easily reach Firiplaka beach by taxi, bus or even by boat, with one of the various organized tours. Delfinia Boat Tours organizes half-day excursions with € 25 per person, with water and a mini sandwich included. For those who prefer longer and exclusive tours, Milos Adventures offers a daily tour, which circumnavigates practically the whole island, with lunch on the beach included, at a cost of € 80 per person.

Whatever means you choose to reach Firiplaka beach you will be enchanted by the transparency of the sea and the imposing multicolored cliff that seems to want to embrace it. Unmissable!
