
The Sarakiniko beach, also called "Moon Beach" is located in the northeastern part of the island of Milos and is 5 km from Adamas.
It takes its name from the pirates of Sarakin, who left their ships in the hollow of the rocks to rest and then again sail the next day.

Is Sarakiniko beach equipped?
The Sarakiniko beach is not equipped with pay sunbeds and parasols, just nature, white and sea. So arm yourself with what you need to spend a wonderful day. Maybe lie on the rocks to sunbathe, take towels or beach towels so that the slightly sharp rocks don't hinder your blissful relaxation. But lying on the cliff is absolutely the best way to relax in contact with nature.
Before arriving make sure you go to the local market to buy some food and drinks to make you a nice picnic on the beach and enjoy it to the fullest!

Here you will not find the green flora (except for a tuft of grass), but only and exclusively white and blue.

How to reach Sarakiniko beach?
Getting to Sarakiniko beach is very easy. It can be reached by car (10 minutes from Adamas and 15 from Plaka), a regular bus, which for € 1.80 will take you from Adamas directly to the beach, and boat tour. If you decide to use the car, once you arrive you will find the parking lot where you can leave it for free and next to it there is also the bus stop for those who had instead chosen the latter. In front of the parking lot is the descent along the white cliffs, you'll have to walk, after less than 5 minutes you will come to this beautiful paradise! Try to get there as soon as possible, so you can enjoy the beach without too much crowd.
The most important thing to do on Sarakiniko beach is to go all around it, from east to west, every corner that is hidden or not deserves to be seen and will give you unique views and emotions: believe it ... a beach like Sarakiniko's is really one in a kind!
