Lindos Beach

The beach of Lindos is absolutely one of the most famous and admired not only of the island of Rhodes, but of all Greece, with its picturesque bay and the enchanting sea that surrounds it.

It is located about 50 kilometers from the capital, along the eastern coast of the island of Rhodes and is dominated by the homonymous Acropolis. It is possible to reach Lindos beach by bus and boat from the city of Rhodes or comfortably by car.

The parking is located about 200 meters from the beach, you will only have to walk past the village of Lindos, with its narrow streets and thousands of small shops and between a stop and a photo, you will have arrived.

You will be enchanted by its crystal clear sea and soft golden sand, ideal for relaxing and having a good swim.

The water of a thousand shades is warmer by a few degrees than the other beaches on the island of Rhodes and is shallow, so Lindos beach is perfect for everyone.

On the beach of Lindos you will find services for every need: sunbeds and umbrellas for € 10 a day, showers, bars, restaurants and shops. All this makes it perfect for a vacation that is for couples or families with children.

A little tip: try to get there early, to avoid the big crowds due to its fame and to enjoy its beauty in peace.

If you want to have lunch on the beach of Lindos, behind it you will find great bars and restaurants. For example the Dolphins, a restaurant that offers tasty fish dishes, Mediterranean and traditional cuisine, or the Panos Restaurant & Bar, which in addition to Greek and fish dishes offers delicious burgers, hot dogs and club sandwiches.

After a relaxing day on the beach, don't miss a view of the Acropolis of Lindos, the most important archaeological site on the island of Rhodes. The cost for entry is € 12, but it's definitely worth it! You can access it via a staircase of 300 steps, or on the back of a donkey. Once there, you can admire the Doric temple of Athena Lindia, the castle of Lindos and the Church of Panagia, with its imposing stone bell tower. Not forgetting the spectacular panoramic view from the Acropolis, which will leave you breathless!
