Diamandi Beach

The beach of Diamandi is located in the southernmost tip of the island of Skiathos and precisely at 5 km from the capital . It is a splendid, fairly intimate and isolated beach that presents an emerald and turquoise sea that becomes increasingly blue offshore, golden sand mixed with pebbles and all around a barren landscape that extends towards a promontory rich in vegetation.

Here you can breathe nature, pure and simply wonderful!

Is Diamandi beach equipped?

Diamanti beach offers sun beds and umbrellas for € 10 a day and a tavern where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish while admiring the beautiful and wild landscape, which gives a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, thanks to a lower influx of tourists than the others beaches of the island of Skiathos.

During your stay you will be able to see a few boats coming in to disembark tourists. This will be the only flaw that can "ruin" your moment of relaxation ... but don't worry ... not many tourists choose this itinerary ... most prefer to stop in Lalaria and Koukounaries.

Inevitable a bit of snorkeling to admire the splendid marine fauna that populates the crystalline waters of Diamandi beach.

How do you reach Diamandi beach?

To reach the beach of Diamandi there are two ways: the first is by land for which you can travel only a stretch of road by car, the rest will be on foot. Before starting this little adventure we suggest you to wear comfortable shoes and clothes, so that you can move freely. Once you arrive by car up to the point indicated by the signs you will find yourself in front of a closed gate, you will have to cross it and walk across a somewhat impervious, but feasible, path among the pines and shortly after you will find yourself in front of this wonder .

The alternative is to reach it by sea, the easiest way, by taking a taxi boat or a mini cruise. Usually most of these boats allow tourists to stay on the beach for an hour and a half / two.

What we recommend is that if you have children, old people or backpacks and fridge bags, it's definitely better to take advantage of the second option, which is to reach by sea. Getting to Diamandi beach by land requires a bit of effort and hands free.
