Lalaria Beach

Lalaria beach is located in the northern part of the island of Skiathos and 6 km from the capital. It is a completely uncontaminated beach and presents characteristic white pebbles that give the landscape a heavenly appearance. Not for nothing is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island of Skiathos!
One of the reasons why it is particularly appreciated is its landscape: the high cliff behind it, the rock deformed by the climatic conditions that forms a bridge and the deep blue sea, clear and crystalline together create a unique and really suggestive scenery, a real postcard!
On the beach of Lalaria there are no refreshment points and umbrellas to rent. This is why we advise you to bring everything you need.

How to reach the beach of Lalaria?

The beach of Lalaria can only be reached by sea. You can get on one of the many excursion boats that leave from the Old Port of Skiathos and in 40 minutes you will land on this beautiful beach and various other points of the island that can only be reached by sea.
One thing we suggest you do before booking one of these excursions is to check the weather forecast the day before for the next day, because in many cases, if the forecast announces bad weather or wind, all the individual boats, for reasons security, they may decide not to leave.
Usually the price of these excursions is around € 13 per person, but it is not a fixed cost and everything depends on the period of low, medium or high season and above all the different services that are offered on board the chosen boat.

A tip to visit the beach of Lalaria!

If you prefer not to find many tourists then we advise you to go in the afternoon, when most of the visitors return to the port, but watch out for the period because, for example, during the second half of August the days start to shorten, so if you arrive in late afternoon you could risk not finding enough light to enjoy the beautiful colors of Lalaria beach.
However if you follow our advice you will definitely have the chance to admire the beach in its total tranquility and the panorama at sunset is one of the most beautiful views in Greece!
